This safari is the ultimate trip for those who truly want to get away from it all. Your safari begins with a visit to the lesser-known Ruaha National Park, containing big herds of buffalo, large prides of lions, and exceptional concentrations of elephant. Enjoy great opportunities to see leopard, cheetah, three hyena species, and several different antelope species.
Next, you travel to the even more secluded Katavi National Park. Enjoy a Serengeti-type wildlife experience without the Serengeti hustle and bustle of competing game vehicles. In other words, experience the bush as those who first visited Africa, two centuries ago. Large numbers of wildlife await you and even some of the shier species of large antelope will show curiosity at your presence.
Finally, you will partake in one of the continent’s greatest wildlife experiences; a trek among chimpanzees in the beautiful and extremely remote, Mahale National Park. In addition to spending time within close proximity to our closest living wild relative, take advantage of the diversity of life that is typical of a jungle environment.
