The three days of riding begin in Mbahe Village, circumnavigate the mountain counterclockwise, and finish in West Kilimanjaro.
This 95-mile (150 kilometer) bicycle tour passes through colorful mountain villages, past lush coffee and maize farms, into cool mountain forests, and then out into the drier and sparsely populated savanna on the northwest side.
