Safari Planning Team

As the daughter of wildlife biologist and The Wild Source founder Bill, Ashley grew up with a deep-rooted love for animals. Her childhood was filled with backyard adventures catching snakes and salamanders, along with frequent visits to the Denver Zoo.

Ashley developed a passion for travel early on through road trips and wildlife-focused journeys with her father, experiences that sparked her lasting interest in conservation and safari experiences.

During her teenage years, Ashley spent her summers traveling across the U.S. to support communities in need. Her work included hurricane cleanup efforts, feeding those experiencing hunger, and providing resources to people facing homelessness. In college, she continued her service by volunteering with an organization that taught English to Spanish-speaking immigrants. Through these experiences, Ashley discovered a deep passion for listening to people’s stories and empowering marginalized communities.

She earned a BA in Stage Management from Pace University in New York City, where she developed the adaptability and organizational expertise needed to oversee complex projects. Her training equipped her to collaborate with diverse teams, navigate dynamic situations, and keep demanding schedules on track. You could say the world is her stage!
