Here are what just a few of our clients have to say about their experience with The Wild Source
I cannot even begin to describe how happy we all were with our entire safari experience. I would gladly take ANY trip by the Wild Source blindfolded and without a single question asked. =) WOW.
Deo was the most amazing guide ever – after safari was over, the majority of our conversations revolved around talking about him! He is truly everything and more than what you described.
We had a few hiccups with the car, and he didn’t even bat an eyelash. Just fixed what need to be fixed and we continued on our way. He gave us soooo much information about the wildlife, which I believe made the trip so worthwhile. I felt like we were watching National Geographic and Deo was narrating – but everything happened to be right in front of us. We learned so much about the environment, the animal behavior, and countless facts about anything and everything. This made our experience so special – so personal and so educational.
It wasn’t just “seeing animals”. It was just so much more. The fact that we saw 2 kills was out of this world. Watching a hyena kill and a cheetah kill within an hour of each other!
The camps were outstanding. The food and the service was above and beyond anything I imagined. I still wish that I could have those meals right now back in Chicago. So flavorful and so fresh. Amazing.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Addis, Tanzania and Zanzibar. Nadeanne is ready to go back to Tanzania and find a job. Deo was fantistic as a guide and a person. Deo was an expert naturalist. His knowledge was encylopedic He knew extra-ordinary facts about an enormous number of animals, birds, etc.
…Oh by the way we also saw lots of animals, many cats. I realize i am a big cat person. Many shot of lion pride, hyena pack, and we found and watched a leopard on the last full day. But even on the last day going the our bush airport Deo found us hyena, hippo, etc.

Great trip. As Deo told you we had outstanding cat sightings. Just goes to show what being in the right place at the right time, and putting in the hours gets you. That last point is so important. It is common sense really but as you know too often the focus is on other things.
I think the itinerary was spot on – it was nice to have the contrast of Seronera to go with Ndutu, as well as providing some insurance in case the herds had moved north prematurely. But Ndutu stole the show with quite unbeliavable cat viewings. I saw more cheetahs in my first morning that I had in 15 previous trips to Africa combined! Both with cheetahs and lions we had a good mix of females with cubs and males. We spent time with the herds on a few occasions – also a highlight although not one easy to capture with a photograph. And we had plenty of time without other vehicles around – again by staying out longer and being patient with individual sightings.
Gorillas – wonderful experience in perfect sunshine. I will want to do this again. Lovely contrast to the plains. It was hard to tear myself away from the plains to fit this into the itinerary but it was worth it.
You/Deo – we have a shared ethos which is hard to find elsewhere. I said to Deo that I see you guys as a niche provider for those that want a deeper wildlife experience in a market dominated by mainstream providers. Photographers want the same. Please keep it that way. If you wanted some feedback on fine detail that can be improved then I’m happy to share that, but overall a very satisfied customer.

If we ever have the chance to meet, I owe you a BIG bear hug! You were right – Botswana was fantastic, but this was even better!. (Hard to believe) Pete has put together a slide show of the best pictures and it’s fantastic. The hosts at each lodge were absolutely the best, the rooms were out of this world and our experiences will never be forgotten.
I could go on and on and on, but this will do for now. Everything went like clockwork and exceeded our expectations.
