Ongava Lodge is situated on the 35,000ha Ongava Private Game Reserve. It shares the southwestern border with Etosha National Park, just south of Andersson’s Gate.
Ongava Lodge is perched close to the top of a hill overlooking the reserves plains. Wildlife are drawn to the two waterholes at all times throughout the day.
There are 13 chalets and 1 family room all built from brick, rock and thatch. Each chalet is en-suite with flush toilet, bath,shower and double hand basins. There is also air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, tea/coffee stations and in-room safe. Glass doors lead out onto a private verandah overlooking the bush.
Guests enjoy outdoor dining beneath the stars while watching wildlife visit the waterhole for a drink. All three meals can be served under thatch, in the split-level lounge or dining room. All have views of the waterhole. There is also a swimming pool.
