Impalila Island is situated at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers. It is the only place in the world where four countries (Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana) share a border. The island is only 70 kilometers west of Victoria Falls.
The main lodge has a swimming pool, bar, reference library, lounge and dining area all built under the canopy of the large baobab tree.
The lodge consists of 8 private chalets. Each chalet is elevated within the riverine forest, boasting great views over either the Mambova rapids or the quiet backwaters of the Zambezi River. Each luxurious chalet is en-suite with a fan, hairdryer, mosquito net and private deck.
