Dolomite Camp is located in the western section of Etosha National Park. Self-drivers should note that entry through the Galton Gate (western entrance) is ONLY permitted with guests previously booked at Dolomite Camp.
Dolomite is the first camp built in the western section of Etosha that caters to travelers. Although the main wildlife sightings occur in and around the waterholes, game viewing is surprisingly good in this area.
Dolomite Camp is much small than the three more established Etosha camps and as a result guests can expect personalized service.
There are twenty elevated thatched en-suite chalets tucked in amongst the dolomite rocky outcrops. Guests are guaranteed privacy and panoramic views. Dolomite Camp has a reception, guest lounge, fireside boma, laundry service, restaurant, swimming pool and secure parking. Guests should note there is a long and fairly steep path from the bar and restaurant area to the chalets. The camp has golf carts to transport guests who are unable to make the walk.
