Desert Rhino Camp
Desert Rhino Camp is a mobile camp managed in collaboration with the Save The Rhino Trust and is located in the private Palmwag Concession area that covers an impressive 5,000 square kilometers between the Skeleton Coast and Etosha National Park.
Desert Rhino Camp offers visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the ecology and conservation of the private concession. This is a luxury tented mobile camp that moves with the wildlife and accommodates a maximum of 12 guests.
The restaurant and lounge are tented as well and raised on a wooden deck. With partially opened sides great views of the surrounding desert and mountains are easily appreciated. Guests relax on the leather sofa, in the comfortable chairs in the lounge or socialize at the dining table. The camp also prepares camp fires each evening.
The 12 guests are accommodated in 8 large Meru-style tents with simple en-suite facilities. Hot water is by request only. Guests can relax on the front verandah. Each room has an electronic safe, an emergency horn and mosquito repellent.
