Wednesday, 7 October 2009 15:44 by BillGiven

Bill has now made his way to Bilimungwe Bush Camp. Bilimungwe Bush Camp is the southernmost Bush Camp Bill will be visiting on his current Walk on the Wild Side Safari. He spends two nights at Bilimungwe camp before moving on to the next destination - Chindeni - where he'll be spending another two nights. For more information on Bilimungwe Bush Camp, see the information following the trip itinerary and map towards the bottom of this blog post.

Please see the itinerary and map below for details on Bill's current Walk on the Wild Side Safari.

More about Bilimungwe Bush Camp

Bilimungwe Camp is located along the Luangwa River. Bilimungwe is in a very remote area and is a great spot to start the northern trek towards the other camps along the walking safari route. Bilimungwe features a permanent water hole which allows for great game viewing. Bilimungwe has a dining area complete with fully stocked bar(pictured below) which overlooks the waterhole.

The camp consists of four comfortable chalets which include showers, toilets, and vanities. Chalets come complete with two queen sized beds - with mosquito netting.
