Today marks the first day of yet another African Safari for Bill. After just completing his last safari around 3 weeks ago, he now returns to Africa to visit some new - and some familiar destinations.

This time, the focus of the trip involves two countries - Zambia and Botswana. In Zambia, the focus will be to visit multiple camps on a walking safari. In Botswana, he will visit an old favorite - Mapula Lodge - as well as some new locations. One of those locations is Sindabezi Island - a new stop in a familiar region. More on Sindabezi as the trip progresses, but it is an island in the Victoria Falls Region. Other new places for Bill include Sandibe Safari Lodge and Savute Under Canvas - both in Northern Botswana in the Okavango Delta Region.

The next update will be a brief one - and will provide details about Bill's accommodations in Johannesburg. After that, Bill begins the walking safari in Zambia. Below is the itinerary for the Walk on the Wild Side Safari. At the bottom of this post is a map of the destinations Bill will be visiting on this next journey.
