My regular readers to The Wild Source blog will remember the Zambia walking safari that I was lucky enough to experience last October. If you click on the link, it will take you to the first day of the safari (my arrival in Johannesburg) until the end of my trip which finished in Botswana. But in between that start and end date was a fantastic week long walking safari where I visited four separate Zambia camps. Much of the safari excursions were done on foot. It was an amazing experience.
This week, I was fortunate enough to receive mention in the Dallas Morning News as an outfitter for Zambia Safaris. The article actually features the walking safari adventure of a Canadian journalist in Zambia and is very entertaining. Between that article and the information from my Africa Safari Blog and my pages on Zambia, you should get a great idea of what a Zambia Walking safari is all about.
The Zambia walking safari camp locations I visited are depicted on the map below. The safari also included a trip to Victoria falls immediately after the safari, followed by my visit to a couple of camps in Botswana.
