Little Kulala is the sister lodge of Kulala Desert Lodge and its entrance is located 17km south of Sesriem.
Little Kulala consists of 11 air-conditioned double chalets and one family chalet. They are all linked by a walkway and raised on wooden decks with a bamboo stick gate on each for additional privacy. Each chalet has its own bathroom with a marble shower, twin wash basins, electrical outlets and a large wall-sized mirror. The double bed is located in the middle of the room and raised on a small platform. Two sides are made almost entirely of window allowing guests spectacular panoramic views of the desert landscape. There is also a private outdoor shower.
Guests relax in the main lounge where large glass doors open up to a thatched deck where hammocks swing. Amongst clay pots, sculptures and a variety of traditional Namibian baskets, cushions, bean bags and chaise lounge. This area is frequently used for dining, but during the cold winter months (June-August) dinners are generally served inside next to the fireplace. Romantic candle-lit dinners for two can be arranged in the lodge’s underground wine cellar.
To the left of the main lounge, an outside deck opens up to the pool area. The pool is fenced off from the desert with bamboo sticks. The views from here are a particular favorite among guests.
